It’s almost that time of year again, Shane’s birthday!  This year our favourite guy will be turning 35 and I thought that it would be nice to organize a video for him with messages from fans.  Last year I made this video and I will be doing something similar.  I already have the song chosen and all I need now is for the fans to show their love and send in their pictures.  I suggest watching the video before creating your message as it will give you an idea of how it will look in the video

Some general rules/suggestions for creating your message:

• Write in clear writing – both colour and size.
• Keep it short and sweet! There will be a lot of messages to fit in and Shane won’t be able to read paragraphs of writing.
• Be creative! As you can see, some people got creative and wrote with sweets and even fries!  Whatever you are doing, make sure you can read it clearly.
• Have fun with it – draw little doodles of balloons and hearts around your message. Lots of colourful messages will look great in the video
• Put your name on it somewhere if you can – either your name/nickname/twitter handle.  I will be uploading all of the pictures to the gallery in a special section and linking it to Shane in the description of the video so he can read all of the messages.

The deadline for the messages will be the 1st of June - I want to have all of the messages by this time so I can have ample time to get the video put together.  Email your message to be the with subject heading “Shane Birthday Project 2013″ to webmaster.shanewestonline@gmail.com
